| The
CPS Buyer |
|
The
Typical CPS buyer has had significant prior credit
problems that may include bankruptcy, repossession,
charge-offs and collection accounts. These problems
are situational and do not represent a chronic unwillingness
to pay credit obligations.
The
situational credit problems must be a thing of the
past, although it can be the very recent past. Yesterday's
bankruptcy discharge is indication that credit problems
are past. The absence of currently delinquent accounts
is generally an indication that a non-bankrupt buyer
may be past their situational credit problems.
